We have pleasure in informing you that the Rev lain Goring will become the Interim Minister for the linked charges of Holytown Parish Church and Wrangholm Kirk, New Stevenston. The service of linkage will take place in Wrangholm Kirk, New Stevenston on Thursday 26th October 2006 at 7.00 pm. This will be followed by the Introduction of the Rev lain Goring to the two congregations.
Please note that the service at Holytown Parish Church is now at 10.30 am. The first service to be conducted by the Rev lain Goring will be on Sunday 29th October and we look forward to seeing you there. The service at Wrangholm Kirk, New Stevenston is at 12.00 noon.
The Rev lain Goring and his wife will be living in the Holytown Manse. You will appreciate that much work requires to be done within the manse to make it comfortable for them. The upgrading of the Manse will be jointly funded by Wrangholm and ourselves. Nevertheless a little extra from you to help will ease the drain on our finances. The Wrangholm Manse is to be marketed and disposed of.
We are looking forward to this new era in the life of the congregation. We hope you are too.
