Flower list
We should like to thank our Flower Convener, Mrs Christine Bell, for looking after the flowers in the church throughout the year. We should also like to thank all those who gave flowers during the year. This was much appreciated by the congregation and also by those who later received them.

The Guild resumes meetings in the New Year on Wednesday 13th January when the speaker will be Mr S McNeil. All will be made most welcome.
Magazine distribution
Will all magazine distributors please ensure that all monies are given to the convener, Mrs I Hinshelwood, no later than Sunday 13th December.
We should like to thank the distributors for the part they have played throughout 2009 in keeping in touch with members and friends in the village. In particular for those unable to get out and about you have brought the news of the church to the people you visited and I am sure your visits have been greatly appreciated.
Thank you
We should like to record Mrs Edmond's thanks for the flowers and visits she has received especially as she is rarely out.
May we also as a congregation wish a belated "Many Happy Returns" to her. She recently celebrated her ninety-fifth birthday.

Thanks from the primary school
We wish to share this letter received from Mrs Johnson, head teacher of Holytown Primary School.
Dear Friends,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who donated home baking for our Christmas Fayre. Your generosity ensured our Fayre was a great success. Our school is so lucky to have such wonderful support from the Holytown Community.
I hope I will see many of you at our Christmas Concert on 7th, 9th December or at the pensioners treat on Tuesday 8th December at 1.30 Pf!1. You will be very welcome.
Yours sincerely,
Morag Johnson, Head Teacher.
