A few words of thanks
We were delighted to see John Murray back among us. John wishes to thank everyone for the cards and flowers he received and for all your good wishes.
Margaret Anderson would like to thank everyone for their prayers, cards and flowers after her accident and for offers of help and assistance. It was greatly appreciated.
A special "thank you"
We should like to say "thank you" to the person who anonymously donated a large sum of money to the Church. This donation will be used wisely and with much thought.
Congregational Board
We wish to welcome two new members of the Congregational Board. They are Mr Norman Boyd and Miss Janie Shaw. We wish them much pleasure in serving the church in this way.
As intimated at the Stated Annual Meeting of the Congregation on Sunday 8th March, Mrs Isabel Dunn has resigned from the Congregational Board, and we thank her most sincerely for her assistance.
Recordings of Church Services
Many will be aware that the Church Services have been recorded in recent weeks. For these recordings to be of any value they must be distributed to those who wish them, particularly to anyone who is unable to be present at the services.
We have two requests. Would you be willing to distribute the recordings to those who wish to have them? If you are willing and interested in doing this, please tell the Session Clerk or any other office-bearer.
The second request is to find out who is interested in receiving the recordings. There may well be someone you know - a neighbour or a friend - who would be delighted to be able to have the opportunity of using the recordings for private worship.
Meetings of the Congregational Board and the Kirk Session
The next meeting of the Kirk Session will be on Tuesday 14th April at 7.00 pm. The Congregational Board will meet on Tuesday 12th May at 7.00 pm. It was felt that there was too much business to be transacted for the two groups to meet on the same evening.
